Additional Information
The local government decided to dump thousands of tons of quarry sand onto the beach to make it bigger and failed to carry out any study as to the correct construction or type of sand required. This has resulted in the sand simply being washed into the bay. It now looks like a pea soup bay. The fish, dolphins and everything else have all gone. All that is left on the beach is very sharp gravel which is impossible to walk on if you want to make a shore entry. All of this done behind closed doors and without consultation.
