Additional Information
Mordialloc is a dive site situated close to Melbourne CBD and as such it sees a lot of random trash thrown in, as well as the heavy presence of fisherman, some of whom are accountable for the high proportion of fishing line, lures and weights found at the bottom of the pier.
A car spring, a Barbie doll and ID cards.
Squid jigs - they are sharp and can rip mesh bags and gloves
Fishing lures - same reason as above
Fishing line - it's everywhere! Entangled in so much seaweed and sometimes animals, it can be a pain to cut out.
