updates

For International Oceans Day it was felt we had to do something positive for our amazing underwater environment.  What better than combining education with direct action!  Therefore we conducted a Project Aware 'dive against debris' speciality course and did a great underwater clean up of our house reef in Namma Bay, Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.  Recording 32kg of debris collected from seabed with two buddy teams, 1 x 2 and 1 x 3, in a 47 minute dive.  The area we focused on was between 9 and 14 meters deep.  This area was chosen as we had identified it as an area where lots of debris were present. There are several marine craft working in the tourist industry, that are moored in this area.
