This summer, Coral Restoration Foundation is hosting our 3rd Annual Coralpalooza — a weekend dedicated to promoting awareness for our coral reefs!

In honor of World Oceans Day, this event will be held on Saturday June 3rd. Dive program participants, as well as snorkelers or land-lubbers, will join the Staff at ScubaCaribe Bayahibe/Dominicus for a presentation along with hands on training.

In the afternoon Divers will do a dive of reef restoration and a dive for Dive Against Debris.

Schedule:

9:00 AM: theory of the Coral Reef Conservation course by Project Aware and on land practice.

12:00 - 1:15 PM: lunch break

1:30: 2 dives:

1st dive at the coral garden to work on maintenance and transplants to the reef

2nd dive to collect debris and support project aware program Dive Against Debris

4:30/5:00: group photo and activity end.

Requirements:

Have a diving certification of any level and good buoyancy control (only for the dives in the afternoon).
