No. Lazy beachgoers not throwing out their rubbish. Most was found along the shoreline and intertidal zone as we went out at low tide.

Homemade bong and reading glasses

straws - too easy to kill sea life and float into sea

cardboard coffee cups

takeaway containers

Great experience, I hope to do another at another location soon. 10 people helped on the beach. I tried to include only debris in water zone, underwater, intertidal. We collected more rubbish off the beach but discarded it.

We raised money for Project Aware by selling the underwater bags. They have run out of metal straws and we would love to order more when they become available. They may be shipped to Adelaide Scuba attention: Erika Sullivan. Thank you.
