Divers in Cozumel spent a couple of days on the Northern reefs, picking up bits of trash and most commonly fishing line. This is not always easy due to the often strong currents up there. Conditions were cooperative and divers collected debris on 2 dives in 2 days.

We conduct small but regular events with divers visiting our resort destination. Collection bags are passed out and then we note everything collected on our Project Aware collection cards.

Doing a small part to help the ocean environment, divers feel fulfilled and empowered.
