February 18th Survey

updates

I did a survey with six divers this morning and 1 diver for the night dive.  I covered three different sites on Molasses and found ZERO debris!  This shows that all the dive operations are consistently covering the entire site every day and keeping it clean.  There is a lot of broken off coral from the storms from a few weeks ago, but no trash.  On the night dive, we did see a very large loggerhead turtle taking a nap.  The diver that was with me was very aware of her light discipline and we moved on without disturbing the napping turtle.  A great example of being "aware" that we are only visitors in their backyard.  Great job Jocelyn!
