Dive Against Debris - Snoopy Island

updates

Thank you to our team of debris divers who successfully pulled 27kg worth of debris out of the water from around Snoopy Island.

Working as a team of four, we split the event into two dives, managing to cover the entire reef.

Our first dive was spent surveying and gathering small objects we found, saving the larger objects for our second dive. This allowed us to formulate an action plan to bring larger objects to the surface and back to shore.

Items found - rope and string, metal pipes, fishing sinkers, plastic fragments, floats, and plastic nylon.
