Type of Debris Fishing line with hook
Comments 5 foot nurse shark entangled in fishing line with hook attached - stuck to rocky coral. Shark was severely malnourished. Once line was cut he swam away - hook remind in mouth

Fishing pier does NOT have enough garbage bins to dispose of cut line and garbage. No rules listed - fishing people very disobedient.

bed sheets

fishing line

fishing items - knives, hooks, lures

plastic items on shore

I feel posters or some printed educational materials should be posted or handed out at this pier. Fishermen are the main problem with the debris and the tangled nurse sharks that we seem to free every month
