Dive Against Debris Resources Now Available in 12 Languages
Project AWARE News
You asked, we listened! In an effort to make Dive Against Debris™ easier and more accessible to divers of all different locations and nationalities, we’ve expanded our Dive Against Debris resources to include more than 12 different languages.
Divers across the globe can now remove, record and report debris in the language of their choice. As a diver with a natural affinity for ocean protection, you have the skills and knowledge to make a difference. Now, we want to arm you with the tools and resources to put your next Dive Against Debris into action.
Here’s how to get started:
- Download your Dive Against Debris toolkit in the language of your choice. Print out your action kit so you are prepped and ready to Dive Against Debris during every dive. Carry it with your dive bag so you don’t forget.
- Make every dive a Dive Against Debris. We need your data from every dive – whether or not you find and remove marine debris. Make Dive Against Debris a regular part of your diving adventures.
- Report your Data. It’s great that you’ve removed ocean trash! But don’t forget the final and most important step: Report your data. You can view all data submitted on our Dive Against Debris Map.
- Share your story. Don’t forget to share your findings with your and Project AWARE’s communities through blogs, photo, video and more. If you don’t already have a My Ocean profile on Project AWARE's website, you can create one here. You can also join our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram networks to spread the word about Dive Against Debris.
Thank you for doing your part to protect our ocean planet – one dive at a time.
