100 Days of Clean Up - Days 8 - 12

updates

our efforts continue to go on. So far the guests are still a little bit shy, but the Team is helping to make sure that we have at least one Clean Up every day. During the last 5 days we picked up a total of 33kg with Day 12 being the most successfull one. Todays picture is the result of the 45 minute dive that I did with my two biggest supporters within our Team, Kim and Mark, and a total of 18kg of trash found. The blue thing that we are holding is a huge bedsheet, our most curious find over the past days. Sad to say that batteries and diapers are still an everyday find. We are now up to a total of 152.5kg trash removed from our beloved House Reef and there is still a lots to do.

I'll take this post to thank these two special persons in our Team. Our Office Lady and fellow Instructor Kim is the biggest supporter of this event. Not only has she been going almost every day and every time I asked her to come with me for a quick dive to Clean Up, she also volunteered to take over the counting and weightening of all the rubbish when I'm on holiday leave. She has been an incredible help and I'm very happy to have her in my Team. Thanks Kim, you are amazing.

Second is Mark. He helps as much as he can with the daily counting and weightening whenever Kim is busy working. Thank you too so much for supporting this event.
