Camps International group ‘Mangga’ say: No to plastic!

updates

Say ‘No to plastic’ is a global effort, which Camps International group ‘Mangga’ have now become a part of!

As nature enthusiasts’, with many participants only recently qualifying as PADI Open Water Diver, the support toward Project AWARE’s campaign to eliminate marine debris from our seas and oceans is one all are inspired to contribute their own efforts to.

To notice any positive changes in our marine environment, it’s necessary to make a daily commitment, such as the beach clean ups at our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre. With group after group of willing adventurers’, our island staff team organise early morning and late afternoon sessions to collect rubbish from the shorelines of Gaya Island. Practical experience is much more inspiring for younger minds to want to learn the importance of protecting and preserving their environment, which is the goal of our unique educational program when they’re camping at our paradise island beach house.

The participants will leave with incredible memories of their once-in-a-lifetime experience of snorkelling, scuba diving, kayaking and jungle trekking, and know those activities rely on environmental conservation!
