I want to congradulate Theresa Schultz, Leslie Broderson and Christopher Shoemaker for completing several Project AWARE specialties on our lates trip to the Philippines.  We started our journey by traveling to the Tubbataha Reef via the Atlantis Azores liveaboard.  Having the opportunity to teach the Project AWARE courses in such an amazing place made the training very special for all of us.  We also spent Earth Day in the Philippines and conducted several clean up dives.  We removed 40 pounds of fishing nets and debris during a several dives and restored a large section of reef.  I am very proud of my traveling companions and newly certified Project AWARE divers.  Theresa, Leslie and Chris all completed the following Project AWARE specialties during our two weeks in the Philippines.

Project AWARE, Project AWARE Coral Reef Conservation, AWARE Shark Conservation, Sea Turtle Awareness, and Whale Shark Awareness.  What an amazing classroom we had at Tubbataha and in Puerto Galera.  A big thanks to Atlantis Dive Resorts and Liveaboards for supporting us in our Project AWARE endeavors while staying on their boat and at their resort.
