May Update for 2015 Dive Against Debris Project at Sand Harbor State Park, Lake Tahoe, Nevada

updates

Our May Dive Against Debris at Sand Harbor also invovled setting up a navigation and Peak Performance Buoyancy Course for divers to enjoy while diving at Sand Harbor. We collected 4 pounds of debris during our dive and it appears we are having an impact on the amount of debris in the areas we dive most frequently. I hope we can continue our efforts while the summer season picks up in the Lake Tahoe area I fear the amount of debris at our dive site may increase due to the amount of people who are careless with the disposal of trash while visiting the beach. We will continue our efforts even if we notice a set back so I hope to see some ofyou who are watching this post in June for another Dive Against Debris dive.

Please see my previous BLOG post titled 2015 Dive Agaisnt Debris Project at Sand Harbor State Park, Lake Tahoe Nevada for past updates on this ongoing project.  Future posts for this project will be entered as new blog entries.
