Dive Oahu Dives Against Debris at Kaka'ako Beach Park

updates

We had 10 students sign up for our specialty class and certified club members assisted in diving against debris at Point Panic, Kaka'ako Beach Park today.  We pulled close to 40lbs of debris out of our ocean.  I know we're making a difference when local watermen came over and thanked us for showing malama for their kapuna of natural respect, and they said we're welcome anytime.  A bit challenging with constant 3s rolling in from the east, but the group formed a chain to grab fins and divers as they hit the landing and stepped onto dry land.  I think our next Dive Against Debris may be at Haleiwa, so watch our newsletter!
