Diving for Debris in 2015

updates

As many of you already know we are the only Dive centre on Gozo or malta that dives for debris on every dive.  This means our customers all play their part in helping to keep our seas clean. We have regular Dive for Debris clean ups around the island and we do everything we can to support Project AWARE.  Now PADI have introduced a Dive for Debris speciality course and every one of our instructors will be a Dive for Debris speciality instructor.

We also have our regular Divemaster interns and every one will take the Dive for Debris speciality course and we will integrate this speciality alongside all our other courses and we are sure our customers will want to gain this speciality showing their support for helping marine conservation.

We will also be asking our customers what else we can do to remove debris from around Gozo, our local bars and restaurants all help and do what they can.  When we had bad weather the owners were apologetic for all the waste that go into the sea - what a change to how things used to be.  Last season 2 members of our team raised over €2,000 for Project AWARE by running around the island of Gozo, it was a fabulous effort but this year we want to do more.  Send us your ideas to raise money or challenge us to do something and lets see what a difference we can make.

So come and join us this season and make your mark supporting Project AWARE and their Dive for Debris campaign.
