Effective plan to protect our marine environment.

updates

Each of our successful net removal projects is predetermined by an effective plan to protect our marine environment.

Before becoming a PADI Instructor, each qualification until that professional step, there is a pledge divers make to preserve our underwater world with an array of efforts. One of those, is to demonstrate dive skills and behaviour that are environmentally responsible.

Project AWARE certifications for all of our PADI courses is included to raise environmental awareness among clients visiting our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre in the protected Tunku Abdul Rahman marine park in Kota Kinabalu.

Conservation projects at our island beach house are not restricted only to the marine environment, but also terrestrial. Most important to our dive operations, is that all participants involved fully understand the safety procedures, especially when assissting on a net removal dive. Even our most experienced PADI professionals insist on a dive briefing to plan for an efficient dive because it’s a very taxing underwater project for anyone!

A briefing would follow the expected content of a dive briefing, with particular emphasis on dive buddy systems, use of dive tools and lights, tank pressure checks and air consumption.
