June 8, 2014 was the 4th beach and underwater cleanup that we did at this site (Bayside Beach) and 2nd one for World Oceans Day. This time we had about 10 divers and 20 beach cleaners and collected about 171 kg of rubbish, including 100 plastic bottles and discarded fishing gear and nets and bags of fish feed, as well as large amounts of Styrofoam.
 

We asked everyone to make a pledge an action on reducing waste in the coming year.

2014世界海洋日(6月8日)是勃勃海洋(Living Seas Hong Kong) 第四次暨世界海洋日第二年度在此地點（碧沙灣）舉行海灘及水底清潔活動，是次有大約10位潛水員和20位沙灘清潔人員，並收集了約171公斤垃圾，其中包括100枝塑料瓶(膠樽)、廢棄漁具、漁網及袋魚飼料，以及大量的泡沫塑料（發泡膠）。
