Aqua Hands FINathon 2014 a Success!

updates

Thomas Koch’s Aqua Hands hosted a FINathon fundraiser event on December 7, 2014 at the beautiful Long Center Sports Complex in Clearwater, Florida.  In attendance were seventeen children and their parents and everyone had a grand time, both in and out of the pool!  They were pleasantly surprised  by the famous Phinley, the mascot of the Clearwater Threshers baseball team.   He has made a promise to return for the second annual Aqua Hands FINathon in 2015 and it is hoped his appearance will eventually become a tradition.

The first Annual Aqua Hands FINathon was a success in raising $800 geared towards the cause of shark protection. Participants swam a group total of six kilometers with 121 laps, an impressive feat. In addition, sponsorships from various agencies listed below helped in the fundraising.   This is half of our fundraising goal so donations towards to the other 50% are much appreciated.   Please send donations to: www.finathon.org/aquahands
