Borneo weather is as mysterious as the island!

updates

Expecting to spend a good part of the morning assisting our local environment by collecting marine debris from the shorelines nearby our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre on Gaya Island…but there was none!

A typhoon hit the coast of Kota Kinabalu, however, the winds and rain weren’t as strong as anticipated! It’s like a Christmas miracle!

The beautiful marine life really does take your breath away when everything you see is natural, and our dive operations do what we can to support our local environmental authorities to protect and preserve the Tunku Abdul Rahman marine park.

Improving the health our natural environment won’t occur overnight, but it must be maintained all the time, and we must all make a conscious effort to contribute.

Dive operations within the marine park work together for the same cause of ocean protection, which is a natural responsibility and pleasure for professional divers: to uphold their Project AWARE commitment.
