Join us for a Project AWARE Specialist course offered by Club SCUBA Greensboro and the Greensboro Science Center.

 

Through our classroom discussions, you will learn:

• The importance, and the interdependent nature, of aquatic ecosystems.
• The pertinent issues concerning the environmental status of underwater
environments, such as pollution, fisheries and coastal zone management.
• Information needed to take specific actions to help conserve underwater
environments.
• The role Project AWARE Foundation plays in protecting aquatic ecosystems
worldwide.

The course will include a backstage tour of the Science Center's aquarium as well

Hosted at the Greensboro Science Center on June 4th 10 a.m., to celebrate World Oceans Day.


 

Reservations Required

Cost is $60 and includes admission to the GSC for the day.
