Our last Mevagissey Dive Against Debris was a huge success, so we’re back to show our commitment to protecting this brilliant dive site. Over the past year, we have removed 5,282 pieces of marine debris and ghost gear from our shores. As a thank you for our members’ commitment, we are offering the PADI/Project Aware Dive Against Debris Speciality course at a special offer cost price of £30. Included in this are the training, all the materials necessary, a speciality PADI card and a dive at a cracking dive site. A donation to the charity, Project AWARE is also included. Those who wish to do just the Dive Against Debris, are more than welcome as always.

For those taking part in the course: We meet at 10am, on the harbour outside the harbour office; or 11.30 am if you are just doing the dive. Parking is available at the harbour car park (please bring some change for it), but it’s OK to drop kit off in front of the harbour office. Afterwards will be a pub lunch; and for those who wish to stay on until the evening, the harbour lights will be being turned on at 7pm.
