Haven Diving Services are proud to offer Pembrokeshire's first PADI Project AWARE Shark Conservation Diver Specialty Courses. 

Sharks are crucial to marine ecosystems, yet sharks are in a global decline. Learn about the value of sharks and what is causing the rapid loss of shark populations. This course will teach you about shark conservation, their biology and special techniques for diving with sharks in open water.


Course Includes

* Lectures on shark biology, local species and conservations efforts.
* Two boat dives 
* Marine life encounters at The Celtic Deep
* AWARE Shark Conservation Diver certification card on successful completion of course.

On previous trips we have had underwater interactions with Blue Sharks, Sunfish, Common Dolphins and Barrel Jellyfish.

The Shark Awareness course is open to divers qualified to PADI Open Water or above, BSAC Ocean Diver or any other equivalent diving body certification.

This course counts towards the PADI Advanced Open Water qualification and one of five specialities needed to gain the Master SCUBA Diver qualification.

Divers must have logged a dive within six months prior to their dive date. 

We will take a maximum of six students per trip.
