Hi everyone!
September 21 is almost here and I want to thank you for registering.
We’ve been planning this for a while now and I think we’ve got a great group of Divers and non-divers… though not all have registered yet. if you have any friends or family that would like to come down it’s never too late to register.
And so, without further ado… let’s get into the details:

Where: Porteau Cove Provincial Park
Porteau Cove is located on the Howe Sound fjord, 38 km north of Vancouver on the Sea-to-Sky Highway, 20 km south of Squamish, 8.5 km south of Britannia Beach. Other nearby communities include Brackendale and Lions Bay.

When Saturday, September, 21st, 2013

Time EVENT DETAILS
9:45 a.m. Volunteer registration
10:00 a.m. Opening Remarks
10:05 a.m. Cleanup team photo
10:10 a.m. Cleanup begins
12:30 p.m. Cleanup closes, sorting and weighing begin
2:00 p.m. Sorting and weighing complete
2:15 p.m. Results announced

Who Amy Morgan-Young, Site Coordinator and Greg & Deirdre McCracken, Ocean Quest Dive Centre owners and well known leaders in the diving community.

You need to bring:
Energy! Rain gear, appropriate foot wear,
Optional: Garden/ work gloves (if you have them), change of clothes,
*Small change for charity food sales

Divers need:
Dive gear and tanks,
Optional: dive collection bag, small underwater camera (GoPro/ Intova)

We will have:
ENERGY! Garbage bags, medical gloves, Tents for shelter, clip boards,
BBQ & hotdogs, snacks… water &other stuff.
… and paperwork to record data.
