Whale and Dolphin Watching cruise
Springtime is when the Mediterranean fin whale passes by on its annual migration. There is a resident pod of 100 or so dolphins that frequent the off-shore waters between Cap de Begur and Cap de Creus. This will be a day cruise, starting from the port of L'Escala at 10.30 (you can drive along the inside of the sea wall, turn, and park there without restriction) with an optional lunch on board, returning in the afternoon. You will have a talk and hand-outs on the Mediterranean fin whale and the dolphins to look out for (bring binoculars); and you will also have a presentation on the marine conservation work of Kenna Eco Diving. We will stop in a sheltered bay, like Cala Joncols, for lunch (optional) and some snorkelling for those that want to. Places are limited!
