Typhoon "Pablo" wrecked havoc on Panglao last November, changing the underwater landscape of many of our South-facing dive sites. Sierra Madre Divers is working with Coral Rescue Project Panglao - a project supported by the Reef Conservation Society and the Department of Science and Technology - to replant the coral broken during the typhoon and assist with reef restoration.   Now that Roger and Hannah of Coral Rescue Project Panglao (CRPP) have left Bohol, we are taking over the task of managing this project, and hope to continue transplanting broken coral and rebuilding our reefs.   Anyone who would like to join in our planting efforts can feel free to contact us at Sierra Madre Divers to find out the next planting schedule.    Please note: We might need to first assess a participant's bouyancy control before allowing him/her to participate. Poor bouyancy control can be more harmful than helpful to our reefs!
