With support from the City of Barrie, Gills Diving in cooperation with Widener University and Campus Divers from Chester PA, USA are hosting an above and underwater marine and debris clean up on 15 October 2011 at Centennial beach Park located in Barrie Ontario Canada. This effort is focused on ridding a local resource of marine debris so the local community, visitors, and underwater wildlife can continue to thrive.

   We invite all divers and non divers to participate in this event, even if for a short while, and aid in restoring the area to its natural grandeur and hopefully learn about the impact of debris on the ecosystem and its inhabitants.
