5th September - will it be tonight????

updates

YES!!!!!  \0/  finally the rest of the hatchlings decided that they had seen enough of the sand and it was time to explore new surroundings.

We lifted the cage at about 7pm when the rest of the Hatchlings decided to make a run for it.

As the sun had gone down again we were once again concerned that the ocean was much darker than the island so this would confuse the small hatchlings as they usually follow the light of the moon.  So we had tomake sure they reached the darker waters and headed to the open ocean.

We gave them a helping hand out of the sand and let them walk on the beach for a while.
