Going to California

updates

At the end of September, we will be packing up "What goes around comes around" that is currently at the Unversity of Nevada, Reno, and taking it to the Aquarium of the Pacific, Long Beach, California.  This is a milestone since the generous funding provided by Project Aware was to do just that, to take the exhibit across the USA dropping it off at various locations to bring ocean awareness to landlocked citizens.  It has been such a trip!  Stopping to pump gas in Colarado while it is snowing and people seeing the huge ocean waves on the side of the van with plastic laced through them get people asking, "What is that?"  It keeps us from thinking about being cold and provides an opportunity to educate more people in the most radom of places - rest areas, parking lots, hotels . . . I'm so looking forward to the journey back across the USA in 2015.  But we will have many other stops along the way.  Stay tuned.
