UK-based group of adventurers’ from Camps International have recently visited our Gaya Island beach house to explore the beautiful tropical environment of Borneo!

During their time in Borneo, they participate in various island activities such as the PADI Open Water Diver course for those interested in learning the sport, and for those already certified the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is offered to continue their dive education, otherwise there are other exciting activities such as, kayaking, snorkeling and jungle trekking, as well as a presentation on the benefits of coral reef.

Whatever activity they experience, the adventurers’ are offered informative insight to achieve a deeper appreciation of the benefits of what our natural world can and do offer!

Before the departure of each group, it has become a wonderful routine built into their program of island activities to conduct a beach clean of the Gaya Island shoreline, and our recent group have done a fantastic job just as their predecessors!

It is a great sense of professional satisfaction for our island staff team who have spent so much time with the young adventurers’ and the result has been so positive and enthusiastic!
