On 19 June 2014, volunteers conducted a Beach Cleanup of Bonaire's eastern shoreline near the Bonaire lighthouse. The cleanup focused on removing recyclable plastic debris from the beach, as this poses the greatest risk to the Bonaire Sea Turtle population. Volunteers removed over 35 lbs of plastic, mostly consisting of bottles and plastic bottle caps. Thank you to the HTS volunteers for their support.
