For this years Earth Day Sunshine Divers organized a clean up dive around the area of the main pier of Mae Haad Koh Tao. A total of 11 people (DMT's, Instructors and customers) joined this clean-up dive and it was shocking what we found. Plasic Bags, Ropes, Tires, Shoes, Tshirts, Bottles, Tubes, Metal objects, Kitchen cutlery, etc. The main pier is the area of Koh Tao where all the boats arrive from and to Koh Tao. In total the estimated weight of the debris was around 35 kg.This is definitely a good spot for all dive centers of Koh Tao to visit more often for the monthly clean-up dives. Once again our team did an amazing job and thanks to all the volunteers who participated in the clean-up dive on Earth Day!
