Martin is a Go PRO internship candidate who has recently completed his 1-month PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) preparation program under the supervision of our resident Platinum PADI Course Director Richard Swann.

The walls of our premier PADI 5 Star IDC beach house are decorated with plenty of literature displaying our commitment to and passion for preserving our marine environment.

Richard shares the wealth of his knowledge and experience with Martin, as he conducts the PADI AWARE Shark Conservation Distinctive Specialty Instructor course. 

Martin’s internship program is over, but he will continue to spread awareness on his travels and experiences as a dive educator. His future students will understand the plight that threatens our underwater world and how volunteering their time and effort to preservation efforts can save the shark population from decreasing.

Many shark species are not understood because the species population is so few in numbers that there is simply not enough data to collect.

The research of sharks can assist in proposing an efficient system of protection and preservation.

Congratulations again to Martin! No doubt we will see him again at our PADI 5 Star IDC beach house on Gaya Island to further his professional dive education and work together for the environment!
