Maui Dreams Saves an Eel for Debris Month of Action

updates

For our Debris Month of Action event this year, we conducted two dives at the same location.

We also collect hundreds of feet of fishing line. Not sure what the best way to report that is. Sometimes, it spiderwebs the reef!

This is a very popular fishing area, fished by locals from the rugged cliff-like coast line. Some of the sinkers looked a day old, and other stuff had been down long enough to become part of the reef.

Sadly, we found a dead eel wrapped in line and a fishing pole but were able to save the other!
