Palm Beach County Diving Association’s Dive for International Coastal Clean-Up Day

Riviera Beach, FL –Saturday, September 15th, Members of the Palm Beach County Diving Association and community volunteers will join in the action for Project AWARE Foundation’s global Dive Against Debris campaign and Ocean Conservancy's marine debris clean-up event.  As other collective conservation events take place around the world, Palm Beach County Diving Association will make a local splash in effort to reduce marine debris in our area.

Join the Palm Beach County Diving Association and numerous dive and snorkel volunteers for a fun day of reef and shoreline clean-ups.  We will be coordinating a Beach Dive/Shoreline clean-up from Phil Foster Park.  Registration starts at 6:30 am for divers (8:15am high tide), and 8am for non-Divers.  Come help clean up the park, beach and underwater area...we will provide clean-up materials.  Please contact Shana at Pura Vida Divers for more info.

All divers need to confirm participation before the day of the event and will be required to bring their diver certification card, a safety sausage, and a timing device as well as sign an Underwater Liability Release Form.  All non-divers participating in the Phil Foster Park Clean-Up will be required to sign a liability release at the registration table.
