Beach Clean up

Last Friday our staff, students and friends all pitched in to collect rubbish from the beach and sort it into various recycling bags. Lots and lots of plastics and other debris was removed from the beach.

Underwater Harbour Clean-Up

On Sunday we chartered Flash Besar (our big dive boat) to go out with all the staff and divemaster trainees to clean up underwater around the harbour in Lembongan. Even Sharky our diveshop puppy made it out on the boat!!  Check out our Facebook Album of the event here!

Recycling Boat to Bali

All the rubish collected from our beach & underwater clean ups, as well as the glass, cardboard & plastic recycling from Blue Corner Bar were taken off the island on the recycling boat charter organized by the Lembongan Marine Association. The garbage was then sold to the company Bali Recycling which specializes in waste management & recycling.
