The Blue Corner group of Divemaster Eco-Interns have been busy this week doing becoming Reef Check certified Eco-Divers!

Five of our divemaster trainees (Ben - Australia; Janine - USA; Tom - England; Phil - USA; and Eduardo - Chile) started the course with learning to identify families of reef fish and how to conduct transect surveys of the reef. We then went out into the harbor for a practice survey which was lots of fun involving many giggles underwater -- don't forget to check your air guages guys while working underwater! ha ha ha.

After the practice survey our team went to Shallow Blue Corner Reef (behind Shipwrecks surf break) to conduct a full reef survey and submit data to Reef Check Indonesia.
