COLLEGE DAY REEF CLEAN-UP. On Febrary 9th, we will be meeting at Force-E in Pompano Beach at 11AM to go over a Project Aware presentation and a Dive Against Debris presentation. After we will meet at the boat at 12:30PM. I have rented out the whole boat and will be filling it with college students as a way to get college students diving and involved with saving the enviorment. We will do two reef dives and collecting trash off the reef. The person to collect the most trash will win a prize. After returing to the dock we will have a barbecue and will be cooking up hot dogs and hamburgers and any lionfish speared during the trip. We are currently sponsored by Chipotle so there will be plenty of burritos. Paul and Katie from Fishhead Soup will be playing live music. Food and non-alcoholic drinks are included with the boat trip. There will also be kegs at the party or BYOB for those over 21.
