Conservation through Art

updates

In their second year of supporting a challenge for a special group of kids, Sea Hounds instructors successfully completed a 3 month long program to train Junior PADI National Geographic Open Water Divers not just to dive but to understand and protect the marine environment.

The kids did very well in the waters of Manado, and summarized their experience with an underwater drawing of the marine animal they loved best!  The program allowed for each individual to pay special attention to details of the animal when they encountered it and its behaviour.

For most of the kids from various difficult backgrounds, the experience was a life-changing one. To care and respect themselves first then paying it forward for the environment.
