Our Debris Month of Action may be over but unfortunately there is still rubbish to be found underwater. Last month with 5 dives dedicated to collecting rubbish we took over 75kgs out of the ocean and off our beaches.
Living in windy Wellington however ensures that more rubbish is blowing into the sea everyday - so every dive we should be doing something about it.
Our Dives against Debris will continue on the last Sunday of every month with our club divers focusing on picking up rubbish as they explore our local dive sites
