Sept 17-24 Blue Corner Dive participated in the annual reef monitoring program around Nusa Penida MPA, as organized by the Coral Triangle Center in Bali.

The Coral Triangle Centre has established a long term coral reef monitoring program using several sites around the island. As the Nusa Penida Marine Protected Area is in its early days of inception, it is very important to start tracking changes in reef health as indicated by assembledges of fish communities & coral cover. 

Andrew from BCD joined the CTC Reef Monitoring team this year. We look forward to maintaining healthy reefs around Lembongan and Penida for many years to come!
