Sea Hounds wins Singapore Environmental Council Award

 Sea Hounds, PADI 5 Star IDC Centre, National Geographic Dive Centre and Project AWARE supportrer was recently honoured as the recipient of the Singapore Environmental Council Achievement Awards (Service Category).

The award recognizes the consistency with which Sea Hounds has followed international standards and leveraged on their experience and capabilities to increasingly influence the community, divers and fellow dive centres in Singapore.

Stephen Beng, PADI Course Director and owner of Sea Hounds, received the award from the Singapore Minister of Environment and Water Resources, Dr. Vivian Balakrishan, at the Singapore Environmental Council Awards ceremony on 23 August 2012.

As our global consumption increases, conservation is urgent. Our hope is for all to take ownership of local resources and nature, to appreciate the foreword planning of our government, and to start being responsible for daily choices and actions. To our crew and partners, keep up the good work!
