The jetties in St. Andrews State Park was the spot of my first training dive.  Since then it has become my favorite dive site.  On a given day you can spot manatees, sting rays, barracuda, octopus, goliath groupers, and a very friendly remora or two.  It is an amazing and beautiful spot for everyone to enjoy.  Unfortunately, it is a very busy spot for tourists and fisherman.  At the end of the day, everyone packs up and travels home but leaves some items behind.  In the rocks you can always find cans, fishing line, bottles, a variety of plastics, and anything else you can think of that people bring to the beach.  I want to keep this site as beautiful as possible.  My goal is to plan a cleanup on a weekly basis during our peak season.  Hopefully, the impact of our tourists will be reduced with these weekly cleanups.
