On July 2 2012 the Coast Gaurd cuter Mohawk was sank 30 miles of the coast of Southwest Florida.  I took that day off work in hopes of watching a rare event, but at the last minute found myself with no boat for the trip out and had to make do with watching the event on the local news. Here are some links for anyone else who would like to watch
