July 4th is a day filled with friends, food and fireworks.  It also happens to be one of the busiest days for our beach.  Thousands of people line our beaches to celebrate our independence.  Unfortunately, this celebration comes with a cost.  Once the tourists pack up and head home after the holiday we are left with a mess.  This is a perfect time to host a cleanup and restore our beautiful beaches.  We are currently planning our next shoreline and underwater cleanup.  It is vital that we protect our waters from debris.  We don't have the exact dates yet, but will post the event as soon as we get the details worked out.  I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe 4th of July!
