2nd Group of Glamorgan University Students in Beach Cleanup

updates

The second batch of Glamorgan University students, who joined us for environmental research for their university course, got involved in some Project AWARE action recently.

Successfully incorporating envivonmental awareness into our group activities has made a difference not only to our participating groups, but also to our environment.

When the University of Glamorgan's second group set out to do a beach cleanup, it was obvious that our recent groups and their cleanup activities had made a difference.

Still, included with the pile of trash collected from the Gaya island shoreline, was a large vehicle tire.

This is always perplexing, as we are 10 minutes by boat from the mainland and the nearnest vehicle traffic.

Our group chalked one up for the environment and helped remove a significant amount of marine debris for the greater good.

A job well done.
