Exciting times at Trawangan Dive in Indonesia. After having arrived on this tiny little Island off the coast of Lombok I didn’t get much of a rest before Ayala Cohen recruited me to assist on her current IDC. The same night I was the star guest at a Divemaster Snorkel test with a Shout Out for Sharks theme. Helen and Nick were dressed up as a finned shark and a shark caught in a net. We managed to get loads of signatures for the petition, and had a fantastic night out!

No rest for me. I am currently assisting Delphine Robbe on the Bio Rock course, where I will help to build a new Bio Rock, do some coral gardening and help to fix some of the damage caused by recent storms.

Another very exciting part of my stay here on Gili Trawangan is that I got involved in a Shout Out for Sharks underwater video shoot arranged by Jo Hurford. Very excited to see the result very soon!

Two upcoming highlights which I am really looking forward to is the next Trawangan Dive Quiz Night which is going to be dedicated to us sharks and I will also be part of Trawangan Dive’s first AWARE Shark Conservation distinctive speciality course hosted by Sarah Best.
