Saltwater Crocodile at Ted´s Point Dive Site

updates

Our divers got a suprise last week.....a 4 foot saltwater crocodile was swimming on the top reef at about 5 metres! He was perfectly relaxed and having a swim around admiring the coral and the fish (who could blame him, Ted´s point is one of the most beautiful dive sites we have!)

Environmentalists on the island have been speculating that the destruction of some Mangrove areas in surrounding regions has pushed the crocodiles out from their more natural habitat onto the reef.

We will be monitoring the situation and will let you know of any more sightings
