We are pleased to let everyone know that we completed our Beach Clean up on 8th January 12 as part of our Project AWARE commitment.

It was a brisk Winter's day, but we had a good turnout with around 25 club members attending.

As we have done for the last two or three years, we cleaned an area of the sea wall in Stambridge which is very close to our Dive Centre in Rochford.  It is a tributary which leads out to the Thames Estuary.  It is a very lovely area which suffers from litter.  

The bags consisted of all sorts, but predominately plastic bags, bottles, and drink cans.
