Boy, I wish I'd looked after my teeth....

One of the most bizarre things we found underwater in Sharm el Sheikh on January 23rd were these false teeth (click on the picture to enlarge the image)  Different sharks have different shaped teeth and it all depends on what they are eating.  They are usually in rows that move forward like a conveyor belt, every couple of weeks.

 

Did you know that last year Project AWARE volunteers collected 117,256kg of trash - which is about the weight of 1,114 fully grown hammerheads like Finn and quite a few more sets of false teeth!
